Capability3
1.8L Hybrid Synergy Drive
A 1.8L engine with over 40 percent thermal efficiency works with two motor-generators for 121 net hp. The battery recharges as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in.
AWD-e electric all-wheel drive
A separate electric rear motor drives the rear wheels from a stop up to 6 mph, then steps in as needed up to 43 mph. AWD-e cars use a nickel-metal hydride battery picked for cold-weather performance.
Eco grade for the highest MPG
The Two Eco (2016–2018) and L Eco (2019–2022) trim weight and drag for EPA ratings of 58 city, 53 highway and 56 combined MPG.
